Julia Shin is Managing Director and Head of Sustainable and Impact Investing for Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Investment Solutions Group. Previously, Julia was Managing Director of Impact Investing and head of Innovations at Enterprise Community Partners, a national leader in financing affordable housing, where she led new product development and investor cultivation and managed Opportunity Zone funds. 

Prior to her social enterprise work, Julia worked in finance, most recently as Head of Complex Derivatives Structuring at Citi where she developed new indices such as the Citi MLP Index and was responsible for delivering structured products and derivative solutions to private and institutional clients. Previously she was an investment banker in the New Products Group at Goldman Sachs.

Julia started her career as a corporate attorney, specializing in securities and banking law, and M&A transactions, at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Julia holds a JD from the University of Chicago Law School. She received MA in Economics from University of Chicago and BS degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
