Bill is an experienced financial services and Exchange executive who also is a startup founder and private equity investor. He brings 35+ years of familiarity with the regulatory framework and technology of the financial services sector more broadly, as well as direct exchange experience. Bill has held executive positions at NASDAQ, where he was Head of Strategy, Bank of America, Citigroup, and Modern Markets Initiative, all involving aspects of institutional sales, trading, and markets. He has had direct responsibility for two large portfolio/program trading businesses and an industry-leading order management system. He invented the world’s first fully automated exchange specialist trading system, the predecessor of today’s wholesale market making firms. He is a graduate of the State University of New York where he received a BS in Business Management and Economics.
